GIVE BACK…RECEIVE EVEN MORE!
Toastmaster members who have earned an Advanced Communicator award (ACB, ACS or ACG) have given a minimum of twenty speeches. They have received at least twenty evaluations allowing them to fine tune their presentation skills. If YOU are one of those fortunate members, then the District 84 Speakers Bureau was designed for you! As a service to corporations, communities and government agencies dealing with tough economic times, the Bureau provides speakers covering the many topics included in the Leadership Success and Communication Success Series.
In return, our speakers complete a MAJOR goal toward earning their Advanced Communicator GOLD award. Although this is our primary goal, if you have other areas of expertise you are able to present, please let us know.
WE'LL OPEN THE DOOR…IT'S UP TO YOU TO KEEP IT OPEN
The Bureau provides an introduction. We match members based on their skills with the seeking organization. You can be be teamed with an Area or Division Governor to accompany you. Their goal is to provide you a written evaluation of your presentation and to speak briefly with your audience about the benefits to be gained by starting their own Toastmaster club.
Be sure to bring business cards with you as this is an exceptional opportunity to seek additional speaking engagements (keynote, marketing, etc). How far you can go, is entirely up to you!
For Toastmasters who wish to qualify for the Speakers Bureau:
